Dungeon Realms Game Rules

Latest update: July 29, 2022

The purpose of these rules is to facilitate the use and enjoyment of the Dungeon Realms servers and protect the players that wish to do so. If you do anything intentionally to disrupt that, we reserve the right to modify our rules in order to stop that behavior.

Note: If you believe that you have been wrongfully punished, appeal on the Dungeon Realms forum using the correct format and list the information required. Failing to follow the format or not taking the appeal process seriously will lead to your appeal being denied.

*By signing up with a Dungeon Realms forum account or connecting to our game or Discord servers you agree to all rules that apply to that platform. Claiming ignorance of the rules is not a valid excuse.*

1. No hacking or cheating

What is hacking/cheating?

Hacking or cheating is using any kind of modified client or program to gain an unfair advantage over players who don’t have the same client/program. Macros, autoclickers and any other programs that allow you to do things that are not possible in the vanilla client also fall under this rule. The mods on our ALLOWED MODS list are exempt from this rule.

8. No ban evading

What is ban evading?

Bypassing any type of penalty you’ve been given by using a different account, IP address, etc. If you have been banned on one account, you may not play Dungeon Realms on any account.

Ban evaders are found when they play on different accounts on the same IP address. If you connect to Dungeon Realms on the same IP that another player has been banned on, you will be banned for ban evading, since there is no way for us to know whether you are an alternate account of theirs or not. Avoid playing on the same IP as rule-breaking players. If you have a sibling or other who has a tendency to cheat, there are options available online to get your own IP address.

Penalty:

Ban evading:

Account sharing is when more than one person is using a single account to actively get ahead of other players.

Penalty:

Cross-teaming in Conquest/Stronghold event:

   - 1st offense: Points of participating guilds are reset, or participating players will receive a 30 minute ban. (repeating)

Note on Scamming and Trust Issues
Share any in-game items with other players you trust at your own risk. This includes giving other players access to your Minecraft account. You are held accountable for any actions you and your account takes. The staff team does not have control over issues outside of our platforms nor do they control the trust between you and another player in our game. However, excessive accounts of scamming can be considered a violation of rule #5, specifically under the harassment category.

Note: Players can request a moderator to act as a middleman for a trade that has more items than can fit in the trade menu.

Example: You let your friend use your T4 Pickaxe to mine, but your friend loses it or never returns it. This is considered a trust issue, and thus staff will not help you get your pickaxe back.
