As of Patch 1.8-CB, Mobs were upgraded with more unique and powerful attacks.
Mobs now will have their names changed based on the elemental power they possess. Each mob has a random percent chance they will spawn with an elemental power. All elemental powers are accompanied by their particle and sound effects. It does not add bonus damage, but changes the damage type.
*Pure Damage ignores all armor and cannot be resisted, a very powerful attack.
Bandits → Poison Damage
Iron Golems → Ice Damage
Zombies → Fire Damage
Skeleton → Pure Damage*
Whither → Pure Damage*
Trolls → Poison Damage
Goblins → Fire Damage
Naga → Ice Damage
Tripoli Soldier → Pure Damage*
Lizardmen → Fire Damage
Mobs now possess certain skills. As of right now there is only three, but more will be implemented. All skills have a random chance of occurring.
- Power Strike
A “Cloud” Effect
Delayed attack, but if it lands it will deal 3x damage.
- Triple Shot
Cloud Effect, you will hear 3 arrows firing at once.
It is also a delayed attack, it releases three arrows.
Elite Only Attack
It will hit players in a 3 block radius around the mob, then it turns itself around.
